LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Smolder win the 2v2 because your E root into plant burst punishes Leona's engage attempts and Ezreal's poke range is outmatched by your sustained plant damage in extended trades; Leona's level 2 spike is the main threat and you must respect it by keeping your E ready.
- Post-6, your R is a powerful counter-engage tool against Leona's R, and you maintain lane dominance as long as you avoid getting caught out of position.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to pre-place plants in the brush or lane chokepoints, then use your E to root Leona or Ezreal into the plants for maximum burst; if Leona engages, your R can knock her up and interrupt her chain while your plants deal damage.
- Always prioritize rooting Leona over Ezreal when she steps forward, as removing her engage threat is more valuable than poking Ezreal.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should generally not roam early because your plant setup and zone control are most valuable in the bot lane, and leaving Smolder alone against Leona is a significant risk given his limited mobility.
- If you do roam post-6, do so only when the wave is pushed and Smolder has enough stacks and health to survive a short window alone; your roam impact is moderate compared to Leona's.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in a predictable position where Leona can flash-E onto you directly, as you have no mobility and will die instantly if she locks you down before your E is out; always maintain distance and use your plants as a buffer.
- Wasting your E on a minion or missing it in a critical engage window removes your primary defensive and offensive tool simultaneously, which is the most punishing mistake you can make.
