LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, your Q double-bomb slow is your primary tool to peel Taric off Caitlyn and punish Mel's positioning, but Mel's W reflecting your Q back is a real threat — you must be mindful of your bomb trajectory relative to her barrier.
- Post-6, your R directly counters Taric's R and Mel's R execute, but you can only save one person, so communicate clearly with Caitlyn about when to commit to fights versus disengage.
Synergy & Trading
- Use your Q to slow Taric whenever he walks up to engage range, then speed Caitlyn away with your E to create distance — this pattern denies Taric his stun window and forces Mel to poke without a follow-up.
- When Mel uses her E root, immediately double-bomb the rooted target to extend their immobility and punish their overextension rather than using it defensively.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam when Mel pushes the wave into your tower and Caitlyn can safely CS — your R and Q are high-impact roam tools, and a mid roam at level 6 can snowball the game significantly.
- Avoid roaming when Taric is alive and mobile near Caitlyn, as leaving her alone against a Taric engage with no peel is a lane-losing mistake.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R on Caitlyn preemptively just because she is low — save it specifically for when Mel's R is incoming with high Overwhelm stacks, as that is the only scenario where the execute threshold makes the revive mandatory.
- Using your R on a Caitlyn who would have survived anyway wastes your most important cooldown and leaves you with no answer to Taric's R all-in.
