LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Caitlyn's range and Zilean's Q poke heavily punish your short engage range, making the 2v2 unfavorable — you need Mel to chunk them down before you can safely commit to a stun.
- Post-6, your R grants enough survivability to force a fight, but Zilean's R directly counters yours by reviving Caitlyn, so your all-in must kill both or it likely fails.
Synergy & Trading
- Wait for Mel to land her E root on Caitlyn before you dash in with your E stun — chaining CC this way is the only reliable way to close the gap without eating a Caitlyn headshot trap combo.
- After the stun lands, toggle your W heal to sustain through Zilean's Q bombs and look for a second E if Zilean tries to follow up.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You have no meaningful waveclear, so let Mel handle the wave with her Q while you position aggressively in brush to threaten engage — your presence alone can zone Caitlyn off CS if she respects your stun range.
- Avoid pushing the wave yourself; a slow push or freeze near your tower is safer given Caitlyn's superior range and Zilean's ability to accelerate her to dodge your engage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not blindly dash onto Caitlyn when Zilean has his Q available — a double-bomb slow will cancel your momentum and leave you overextended with no follow-up.
- Your stun is your only hard engage tool, and wasting it into a slowed, retreating Caitlyn while Zilean speeds her away is the single biggest mistake you can make in this lane.
