LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the poke war due to your Q and W range exceeding Jhin's effective trading range, and your W knockback is a hard counter to Nautilus' Q hook if you position it correctly; however, if Nautilus lands a hook at level 2 before you can react, the burst from Jhin's W and four-shot will likely kill you or Veigar.
- Post-6, the 2v2 is close but favors you if you use your R to zone or burst Jhin before he can unload his four shots, as Jhin's R is his primary kill threat and interrupting his channel or killing him first removes their win condition.
Synergy & Trading
- Constantly harass Jhin with your Q at max range to keep him low and discourage him from walking up, while using your W to deny Nautilus hook angles by placing it between him and your duo.
- When Nautilus commits with his hook, immediately use your E under him to slow and damage, then follow with Q to maximize the punish window while Veigar cages.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam to mid after shoving the wave to their tower — your R has global range and can secure kills or assist mid without leaving lane for long, which is your primary roaming tool.
- Your W and Q give you strong wave clear to shove quickly, so look for R assists whenever mid is low and the wave is in a favorable position, then immediately return to lane.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W reactively as a panic button when Nautilus is already on top of you — by then it is too late and the knockback will not save you from his passive root and Jhin's follow-up.
- Use your W proactively to block his hook path or to disengage before he closes the gap, as its value is entirely in preventing the engage rather than escaping it.
