Pre-6, you are the weakest link in this lane — your Q stacking is slow, your E is telegraphed, and Caitlyn will punish you every time you walk up to CS.
Post-6, your R becomes a legitimate kill threat on a poked-down Caitlyn, and your E-R combo with Lucian's follow-up is a reliable kill pattern.

Your role is to set up Lucian's all-in, not to trade independently — land your E cage on Caitlyn when she overextends for a trap or CS, then let Lucian dash in for the kill while you follow with W and R.
Do not try to 1v1 Caitlyn at range; her headshot will chunk you before you can complete your combo.

Stack your Q on the wave consistently but safely — use minions as shields against Caitlyn's Q and stay behind your wave.
Once you have enough stacks for your R to execute a poked-down Caitlyn, the lane dynamic shifts significantly in your favor.

Do not place your E predictably in the same location every time — Caitlyn and Sona will learn to dodge it and you lose your primary engage tool.
Also avoid being the frontline target; if Sona lands her R on both you and Lucian, you have no escape and will die before Lucian can follow up.
