Who Wins
- Pre-6, Pyke + Soraka win the 2v2: Pyke's hook range threatens you constantly, and Soraka's healing negates your short-trade damage while you lack the range to safely proc your W stacks.
- Post-6, you gain meaningful kill pressure with your R invisibility allowing repositioning and your W true damage cutting through Soraka's healing, but Pyke's R can still execute you if you overextend without your E to interrupt his engage.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use your Q to dodge Pyke's Q hook, then immediately look to stack your W on Soraka or Pyke during the window where Pyke is on cooldown — never trade into Soraka's healing without your W fully stacked, as her sustain will simply outlast your burst.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave aggressively early to deny Soraka safe Q healing opportunities on minions, as she relies on hitting minions to restore her own health and sustain the lane; a pushed wave also forces Pyke to be visible in lane rather than roaming, where he is far more dangerous.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never stand still in a predictable position near walls — Pyke's E dash into Q hook combo is designed to punish static positioning, and your short range means you cannot afford to be hooked even once without burning your E or Flash.
