Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Leona's E-Q onto you is a near-guaranteed kill if Taric's W tether is not active, and your poison damage is too slow to punish Leona before she locks you down.
- Post-6, the lane remains dangerous because Leona's R can catch you even out of stealth if she predicts your position, but Taric's R makes a coordinated all-in survivable.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use Q to go invisible, reposition to a flank angle, and auto-attack Ziggs rather than Leona — Ziggs is squishier and your poison stacks deal more meaningful damage to him.
- Avoid extended fights in the open; use Q to reset trades and let Taric's sustain heal you back up between skirmishes.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want the wave pushed into your tower early so Leona has no safe space to walk up and engage — a frozen wave near your tower negates her engage range advantage and forces Ziggs to overextend to poke.
- Ask Taric to help freeze by not pushing the wave, and use your auto-attacks to last-hit efficiently rather than pushing.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use Q to engage — it is your escape and repositioning tool, and burning it to start a fight leaves you with no answer to Leona's E landing on you.
- Going invisible does not make you untargetable, and Leona can still E your last known position or walk toward you if you move predictably.
