Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the poke war clearly due to your range advantage and Pyke's E can interrupt any Leona engage attempt, but a level 3 Leona E+Q onto you is still dangerous if Pyke's E is on cooldown.
- Post-6, you lose the all-in if Leona R lands on you and Samira R follows — your priority is to E Leona or Samira away immediately to break the combo before Samira reaches 6 stacks.
Synergy & Trading
- Poke Samira with auto-attacks and your W at max range to deny her passive stacking, and use your E reactively to knock back Leona the moment she dashes onto you — saving E for disengage rather than aggressive use is mandatory in this matchup.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Freeze or slow-push the wave to keep it near your tower, which shortens Leona's engage distance and forces her to walk through minion aggro to reach you; a fast-pushed wave gives Leona a free running start for her E from outside tower range.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E offensively to push Samira away for damage — you need it as a defensive tool against Leona's engage, and burning it for poke leaves you with no answer when Leona dashes onto you a second later.
