Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Caitlyn's 650 range and Thresh's hook range make this lane extremely punishing for you at early levels — your 525 base range means you're constantly in danger of being poked or hooked before your E stacks build.
  • Post-6, your R gives you an escape tool and burst potential, but Caitlyn's net and Thresh's lantern still give the enemy strong peel and disengage, so the 2v2 remains in their favor unless you land a clean E stack into R combo.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to use Milio's W speed boost to close the range gap quickly, stack E on Caitlyn through short trades, and then burst with E detonation plus R before Thresh can react with a hook or flay.
  • Never commit to a long extended trade because Caitlyn's auto range and Thresh's passive chip will drain your HP faster than Milio's healing can recover.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You want to push the wave consistently using Q to farm safely from range and force Caitlyn to last-hit under pressure, because sitting in a slow wave gives Thresh free hook angles on you.
  • Shoving also reduces the time you spend in the danger zone of Thresh's hook range and lets you reset to a safer position.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not jump onto Caitlyn with E unless Thresh's hook is already on cooldown or Milio has his E shield ready — jumping in blindly gives Thresh a free flay-into-hook combo that will delete you before your E even detonates.
