LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Thresh's hook range and Caitlyn's poke mean you are the primary target for all-ins, and your W and E can mitigate some damage but you cannot out-sustain Caitlyn's poke combined with Thresh's passive over a full laning phase.
- Post-6, your R becomes a critical tool to counter Thresh's R or a Caitlyn trap setup, but the enemy still has the edge in sustained 2v2 because of their range and CC chain.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use E proactively on Tristana before she engages so the shield absorbs Thresh's hook or Caitlyn's trap, then use W to boost her into range for an E stack trade.
- Save your R specifically for moments when Thresh lands a hook on Tristana — cleansing it immediately is more valuable than using it offensively.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam early in this matchup because Tristana is vulnerable to a 1v2 dive or freeze from Caitlyn and Thresh the moment you leave.
- If you do roam, the only acceptable timing is after a successful shove to tower with Tristana safely recalled, ideally around level 6 when your R provides meaningful roam impact.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your Q to poke Caitlyn at max range and waste it on cooldown — Thresh will look to hook Tristana the moment your E is down and your Q is unavailable to interrupt or zone him.
