Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the 2v2 at level 1 through superior range and passive stacking, and at level 2 Leona's E+Q into your W jump creates a kill threat that Ezreal and Alistar cannot match in burst; post-6, your R gives you a hard counter to Alistar's engage since you can knock him back mid-combo, and your W reset potential on kills makes extended fights heavily favor your side.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to let Leona initiate with E+Q to lock down Alistar or Ezreal, then W jump onto the locked target to stack your passive charges and detonate them before Ezreal can E away; if Alistar tries to W+Q to separate you from Leona, use R to knock him back and reposition rather than taking the full combo.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to hard shove the wave early using W resets on the cannon minion and your passive range advantage to deny Ezreal safe farming, then look for all-ins when the wave is near their tower; a pushed wave also enables Leona to roam, and you can safely 1v1 Ezreal under pressure since your range and burst exceed his at most points in the laning phase.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W aggressively onto Alistar when he has his W+Q available — jumping onto him gives him a free target to W+Q combo, which can flip the engage entirely and leave you displaced into a bad position with your escape on cooldown.
