Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Leona wins the level 2 all-in almost every time because her E+Q lockdown is faster and more reliable than your W+Q combo, and Tristana's burst on a locked target is higher than Ezreal's; post-6, Leona's R gives her a point-and-click lockdown that chains perfectly into Tristana's R reset potential, so you still lose the straight 2v2 unless you land your combo first and Ezreal follows immediately.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to W into Tristana (not Leona) to displace her away from Leona's peel, then Q Leona away to separate them, forcing Ezreal to focus the isolated Tristana; this combo breaks their synergy because Leona cannot E onto you while she is being headbutted, and Tristana is briefly alone and vulnerable.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam when the wave is pushed into the enemy tower and Ezreal can safely farm under it — ideal timings are after a successful level 6 all-in that burns Tristana's flash or R, or when Leona roams first and you can counter-roam mid to create a numbers advantage.
  • Do not roam if the wave is slow-pushing toward your tower, as Tristana will dive Ezreal or take plates freely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not engage with W+Q when Tristana's R is available and Ezreal is not in a position to follow — Tristana's R will knock you back mid-combo, completely negating your engage and leaving Ezreal in a 1v2 he cannot survive.
