LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Tristana outranges you at levels 1-2 and her passive gives her even more range as she last-hits, making straight poke trades losing propositions for you; Leona's level 2 all-in (E+Q) is extremely dangerous if Alistar hasn't set up a counter-engage first, so you lose the pre-6 2v2 unless Alistar lands a clean W+Q combo first.
- Post-6, your R gives you a global threat but Tristana's R knockback hard-counters Alistar's engage, and Leona's R can lock you down before you E away, so you still lose a straight 2v2 post-6 unless you have a significant gold lead.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to use E offensively to close gap slightly and land Q on Tristana when Leona is out of position or on cooldown, then immediately E back out before Leona can engage; never commit to a trade without Alistar's W+Q combo already in motion, as your damage alone won't pressure them enough to force a favorable exchange.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to push the wave consistently with Q poke to deny Tristana free farming range and force her to walk up, but avoid hard shoving into their tower since Leona can dive you at level 6 with Tristana's burst; a slow push that keeps the wave slightly on your side gives Alistar engage angles while keeping you safer from all-ins.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E reactively to dodge Leona's E — if you waste it, you have no escape when she completes the engage, and Tristana will immediately follow up with W jump and explosive charges to kill you; save E as a guaranteed escape tool, not a speculative dodge.
