LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Blitzcrank's hook has longer effective threat range than your Q because your Q requires a wind-up and can be sidestepped, while Blitzcrank's Q is faster and his W gives him gap-close to follow up instantly; you lose the all-in at level 2 if Blitzcrank hooks Jinx.
- Post-6, your R box combined with your E flay can lock down both enemies long enough for Jinx's R to execute, giving you a meaningful kill window if Smolder is low.
Synergy & Trading
- Use your E to flay Blitzcrank away when he dashes with W rather than saving it purely for offense — denying his follow-up after a hook is more valuable than initiating a trade, and it keeps Jinx alive to deal damage.
- Once Blitzcrank burns his W cooldown, immediately look to Q the exposed Smolder who has no mobility to escape.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roaming is high-risk here because leaving Jinx alone against Blitzcrank is nearly a guaranteed death; only roam after you have shoved the wave to their tower and Blitzcrank's Q is on cooldown, which gives you a narrow window.
- Mid roams at level 6 with your R available are the most impactful timing since your box can set up kills that Jinx's R can then finish.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in predictable straight lines that let Blitzcrank Q you instead of Jinx — if you get hooked, your lantern is on cooldown and Jinx has no escape, turning a support mistake into a double kill for the enemy.
