LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the 2v2 — your passive grey health and W make Soraka's healing and poke largely ineffective, and Aphelios's Calibrum poke forces Soraka to spend mana reactively.
- Post-6, you continue to win but Jinx's R means you must track her health carefully before engaging, as a low-health Aphelios or yourself can be executed through your W if Jinx fires R at the right moment.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to absorb Soraka's Q poke with grey health, then W-engage onto Jinx when Soraka's E is on cooldown — eating Jinx removes her from the fight entirely and forces Soraka to either run or fight a 1v2 against Aphelios.
- If Soraka lands E on you first, back off and wait for the silence to expire before committing, as being silenced mid-W is a wasted engage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam pre-6 — Jinx is immobile and Soraka cannot peel for herself, so the kill pressure you have in lane is higher than anything you would gain by roaming.
- Post-6, if Aphelios can safely solo the lane for a short window, a river roam to contest vision or assist mid is viable, but only when the wave is pushed and Jinx cannot freely dive your tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W to eat Aphelios as a defensive tool when Jinx has her E trap placed in your path — spitting him out into the trap is a common mistake that turns your defensive cooldown into a liability.
- Avoid tanking Jinx's rockets at full health thinking grey health will save you; grey health only delays the damage and Soraka can still heal Jinx through the trade, so you need to be actively threatening, not passively absorbing.
