LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the lane — Tahm Kench's passive grey health mechanic and W make your Q healing largely irrelevant in extended trades, and Aphelios's Calibrum poke forces you to spend mana healing Jinx rather than poking.
- Post-6, your R gives global save potential but the 2v2 lane pressure does not flip in your favor; Tahm Kench can still eat Aphelios to disengage or eat Jinx to kill her, and your R does not prevent that.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to land E silence on Tahm Kench before he can W, then immediately Q him to chunk health and give Jinx a window to trade freely — without the silence first, Tahm Kench simply absorbs your poke and heals through grey health.
- Avoid standing in positions where Aphelios can hit both you and Jinx with Infernum splash, as losing your own health forces you to Q yourself instead of enabling Jinx.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam — your lane is already losing the 2v2 and leaving Jinx alone against Aphelios and Tahm Kench is a near-guaranteed death or lost tower.
- The only exception is a post-6 R cast to save a dying ally elsewhere, which costs you nothing in terms of physical presence, but walking away from lane is not viable given how dependent Jinx is on your healing to survive this matchup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not burn your E reactively after Tahm Kench has already eaten Jinx — the silence does nothing once she is inside his stomach and you have wasted your only hard CC.
- Managing your mana is critical here; spamming Q to heal chip damage will leave you dry when a real all-in happens, so prioritize healing only when Jinx drops below the threshold where Tahm Kench would consider engaging.
