LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Vayne win a sustained 2v2 if Nautilus misses his Q, because your W root into passive drain and Vayne's Silver Bolts will out-sustain and out-damage Hwei's poke over time; however, a landed Nautilus Q into Hwei full combo will chunk Vayne severely before your sustain kicks in.
- Post-6, your R gives you near-unkillable sustain in extended fights, but Nautilus R onto Vayne followed by Hwei burst can kill her before your R matters, so you must peel for Vayne rather than diving in.
Synergy & Trading
- Use your W to root Nautilus when he dashes in with Q, then activate R to sustain through Hwei's follow-up damage while Vayne free-fires from behind you; this forces Hwei to waste his rotation on you rather than Vayne.
- Your passive soul fragment collection from rooting enemies rewards you for landing W on both enemies, so look for angles where your W can hit both Nautilus and Hwei simultaneously.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam when the wave is pushed into the enemy tower and Nautilus has used his Q recently — your R sustain and W root make you a strong roaming threat to mid lane.
- Avoid roaming when Vayne is low or when Nautilus still has his Q available, as Vayne cannot survive a hook combo alone.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not activate your R immediately when Nautilus engages — save it for when Hwei begins his damage rotation so you sustain through the burst rather than wasting it on the engage itself.
- Using R too early means it expires before Hwei's full combo lands and you lose the sustain window when you need it most.
