LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a slight edge in sustained trades because your W can negate Kai'Sa's early damage output and your Q slow makes it harder for Pyke to land his hook at full range.
- However, Pyke's Q range is long enough that you cannot fully avoid it, and one landed hook into Kai'Sa combo will chunk you severely since you have no mobility.
- Post-6, you are at a clear disadvantage because Pyke's R executes targets below a health threshold that your W cannot always heal through in time.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use Q to slow Pyke when he positions to hook, buying time for Twitch to reposition safely, and to pre-emptively W Twitch before a full combo lands rather than reacting after.
- Use your E silence proactively when Pyke dashes in with E, because silencing him mid-dash prevents his stun from completing and disrupts the Kai'Sa follow-up.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam only in very specific circumstances: if Pyke has already roamed and your tower is safe, you can follow to counter-roam with your R, which can save allies across the map.
- Do not roam proactively to other lanes because Twitch is extremely vulnerable to a Pyke dive without your healing, and leaving him alone against Pyke plus Kai'Sa is almost always a death.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand close to Twitch when Pyke is looking to engage, because Pyke's preferred pattern is to hook you first to remove your healing before the kill on Twitch.
- Spreading out forces Pyke to choose a target, but clustering together lets him threaten both of you with a single hook and E stun chain.
