Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the poke phase — Caitlyn's range advantage and headshot damage on Rell chip your duo down before you can close the gap, and your W only blocks projectiles, not the sustained auto-attack pressure.
  • Post-6, you win decisively if Rell lands her E or W engage first, because the CC chain from Rell into your R will kill both enemies before Nautilus can peel — the entire game plan is surviving to 6 with enough HP to execute the all-in.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to let Rell initiate with E or W to generate CC, then immediately dash in with Q to stack your passive, auto-attack between Q casts, and activate R once you reach S-rank — never engage without Rell's CC landing first, as walking into Caitlyn's range without CC on her means you take a headshot and a Q before you can deal meaningful damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave when possible to deny Caitlyn trap placement on a frozen wave, but do not over-extend to last-hit under tower pressure — your priority is to stay healthy enough to execute the level 6 all-in, so if Caitlyn is poking you below 60% HP, back off and let Rell handle the wave briefly rather than feeding headshot procs.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • The biggest mistake is using W to block Nautilus's Q hook and then walking forward aggressively, because W has a short window and if you mistime it you eat the full hook-chain into Caitlyn headshot — also never activate R when Caitlyn has her E trap between you and her, as you will land on it mid-spin and get rooted, canceling your R entirely.
