LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the lane poke battle — Caitlyn's range means she pokes you and Samira freely, and your W engage is telegraphed and slow enough that Caitlyn can E-trap the path or simply walk back.
- At level 3 you gain your full kit and W engage becomes a real threat, but Nautilus's Q hook range matches or exceeds your engage range, so the 2v2 is roughly even with engage-counter-engage dynamics.
- Post-6, you win if you land W or E into Samira's R, but Nautilus's R at 6 is also a strong knock-up that can interrupt your engage chain — time your W when Nautilus's Q is on cooldown.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use E to dismount and slow both enemies, then immediately follow with W to knock up the priority target (Caitlyn), giving Samira the CC chain she needs to stack passive and R — do not use W as your opener without E first, as the slow from E makes W significantly easier to land on Caitlyn who will otherwise simply walk out of range.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam early because Samira has no reliable peel without you and Caitlyn will freeze the wave and dive Samira the moment you leave — post-6 with a significant wave advantage or after a successful kill, a roam to mid with your W engage is high-value since your CC is strong in tight corridors.
- Only roam if Samira is full HP and the wave is pushed into the enemy tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- The critical mistake is engaging into Caitlyn's E trap — always check trap placement before committing W, because a root mid-engage means Samira cannot follow up and you take the full Caitlyn headshot plus Nautilus chain CC while immobilized, turning your engage into a free kill for the enemy.
