Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the poke war due to superior range and headshot procs on Rell who is immobile and tanky but slow — however, Samira's passive and W can negate your poke if she walks into melee range, so you must respect her all-in threat at level 2 when she gains W.
- Post-6, your R is a strong finisher on low-health targets but Samira's R at 6 completely flips the dynamic if Rell lands her E or W engage, as Samira will shred through both of you in a spin — avoid giving them the engage they need to activate it.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to place E traps on chokepoints to deny Rell's W engage, then poke with Q through minions and auto-reset with headshots on whichever target Nautilus has hooked — never commit to a full trade unless Rell's E and W are both on cooldown, as those are the abilities that enable Samira's R.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to push the wave consistently to deny Samira passive stacks from farming under pressure and to shove Rell into a position where she cannot freely engage without walking through your traps — a pushed wave also means Rell's engage leads into your tower, which punishes their all-in pattern hard.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in a straight line with Nautilus, as Rell's W and Nautilus's Q both create chain-CC scenarios that let Samira stack her passive and R — spread positioning is critical, and the biggest mistake is auto-attacking Samira at close range where her passive and W absorb your damage and she gains style stacks.
