LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 against Tristana + Alistar — Tristana outranges you significantly in early levels, Alistar's level 2 spike is lethal, and your passive requires melee range to stack efficiently which is exactly where Alistar wants you.
- Post-6, you can win if Rakan lands R on both enemies and you immediately R, but Tristana's own R can knock you out of your R channel, so the window is narrow and requires precise coordination.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to let Rakan initiate with W, immediately dash in with E to a minion or enemy to close distance, and chain your abilities to build passive stacks before using R — never engage first because you have no CC and Alistar will simply W+Q you away.
- Short trades where you stack passive and back off are more realistic than full all-ins unless Alistar's cooldowns are down.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave when safe to do so because Tristana's Q gives her strong last-hitting but you want to deny her the ability to freely use E to push — a slow-pushed wave also gives Rakan roam opportunities.
- Avoid freezing near your tower because Tristana can siege safely at range and Alistar can dive you at level 6 with tower aggro.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use E to dash onto Tristana directly when Alistar is nearby — you will land in Alistar's W+Q range and get knocked back before you can trade.
- Also do not attempt to R when Tristana still has her R available, as she can knock you airborne mid-channel and completely cancel your damage output.
