LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this lane — your level 2 W+Q is the strongest all-in tool in the bot lane and Rakan's engage is slower and more telegraphed than yours, meaning you can react to his W with your own combo.
- Post-6, your R hard counters Rakan's R because activating R while Rakan's charm is active dramatically reduces the damage and CC duration, so you remain the dominant support as long as you use R reactively.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to W onto Samira or Rakan and immediately Q to knock them into Tristana's range, then let Tristana apply E for additional knockback — the layered displacement makes it nearly impossible for Rakan to shield or heal in time.
- After the combo, back off and wait for cooldowns rather than staying in melee range where Samira's passive can punish you.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roaming is viable but situational — after a successful level 6 dive or kill in lane, you can roam mid because your W+Q combo is a guaranteed kill setup on most mid laners.
- However, do not roam if Rakan has his R available and Tristana is alone, as Rakan can engage 2v1 on Tristana and she has limited disengage without your peel.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W+Q into Rakan when he has R available and Samira is nearby with full passive stacks — you will burn your combo, Rakan will R both of you, and Samira will immediately R for a full wipe.
- Also avoid using your R preemptively to reduce damage during a trade rather than saving it to negate Samira's R channel, which is a far higher-value use of the ability.
