Who Wins

Pre-6, you lose extended poke trades because Samira's Q outranges your melee kit and you cannot safely stack your passive without taking free damage; however, at level 3 your W plus Thresh's E-hook combo creates a strong all-in window where your damage-sharing passive and sustain make you surprisingly durable.
Post-6, your R gives you a genuine teamfight equalizer and can directly contest Samira's R, making the 2v2 more even, but Nautilus's R-Q chain still threatens to lock you down before you can act.

Your best trading pattern is to wait for Thresh to land his Q-hook on Samira or Nautilus, then dash in with your own abilities to stack your passive, using your W to reduce incoming damage during the trade — never engage without Thresh's CC already in flight, because Samira's E into your face with Nautilus's follow-up CC will kill you before your sustain matters.

Slow-push the wave to build a large minion wave that forces Samira and Nautilus to either take the crash or back, which creates roam opportunities for Thresh and reduces Samira's ability to poke you safely under pressure.
Avoid hard-shoving quickly because it gives Samira a free reset pattern and lets Nautilus look for roams while you are stuck in lane.

Do not use your R offensively into Nautilus's hook — his passive and E will interrupt your R animation or immediately CC you out of it, wasting your primary damage tool and leaving you exposed for Samira's R follow-up.
