Who Wins

Pre-6, you win level 1 all-ins if your Q lands cleanly, but Thresh's E displacement can interrupt your Q mid-flight and Nilah's W passive absorbs burst, making blind level 1 all-ins risky; level 3 is your clearest spike where Q-auto-E chain creates reliable CC for Samira.
Post-6, your R into Q combo is a strong kill setup, but Thresh's R can knock your targets away and Nilah's R can peel for herself, so your ult must be used to initiate rather than follow.

Your trading pattern is to Q onto Thresh or Nilah to force Samira's E engage, immediately follow with auto-E-auto to maximize your passive shield-break stacks, and peel with W if Nilah tries to dive Samira — the combo works when you are the one initiating CC, not reacting to theirs.

Roaming is viable but conditional: only roam after a successful shove where Samira can safely freeze or back, because leaving her alone against Nilah-Thresh is a death sentence given Thresh's hook threat.
Your best roam windows are post-level-6 when your R gives you solo kill threat on mid, and only if the wave is pushed to their tower.

Do not use your Q as a reactionary tool after Thresh hooks Samira — by then the trade is already lost and your Q will be on cooldown when you need it most; always be the one to initiate the CC chain, not respond to theirs.
