Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Draven win the 2v2 — your Q hook into Draven's Spinning Axe damage is a dominant early pattern, and Leona has no reliable answer to your hook at levels 1–2 before she has E.
  • Post-6, you maintain the advantage because your R can interrupt Leona's R engage and your chain CC keeps Aphelios from safely outputting damage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to hook Leona rather than Aphelios — Leona is the engage threat and removing her from the fight with a hook lets Draven freely attack Aphelios who has no peel.
  • After the hook, immediately auto-attack to proc your passive root and chain into your W and E to maximize the CC duration for Draven's damage window.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should not roam early in this matchup — Draven needs you present to maintain the lane advantage and protect his axe-catching patterns, and leaving him alone against Leona's all-in is a significant risk.
  • If you do roam, only do so after a successful kill or when the wave is crashing into the enemy tower and Draven has a clear safe window.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not waste your Q hook on minions or in situations where Leona can simply walk out of the hook path — a missed hook in this matchup removes your primary engage tool and gives Leona a free window to all-in Draven.
  • Also avoid using your R reactively to peel for Draven when you should be using it offensively to interrupt Leona's engage before she reaches him.
