Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Draven + Nautilus wins the 2v2 because Draven's early damage with Spinning Axes significantly outpaces your damage at levels 1–3, and Nautilus's hook gives them a reliable initiation tool you cannot safely answer.
  • Post-6, the matchup remains dangerous because Nautilus R can interrupt Leona's R setup and Draven's lead from early trades often snowballs into an insurmountable damage advantage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to stay at maximum range and use Gravitum root to peel for yourself if Nautilus hooks Leona, then switch to Infernum or Crescendum to punish Draven when he is forced to reposition for axes.
  • Never stand still to catch axes yourself — your positioning discipline is the primary factor determining whether you survive this lane.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Play for a slow push into a freeze near your tower when possible, as this denies Draven the open space he needs to safely catch Spinning Axes and forces Nautilus to overextend for hooks.
  • Avoid shoving the wave into their tower since it gives Draven free axe catches and puts you in Nautilus hook range with no tower safety.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not try to match Draven's damage in short trades — his Spinning Axe damage at early levels will consistently win short exchanges, and you need Leona's full engage chain to convert kills.
  • Standing too close to the minion wave to farm also makes you an easy Nautilus hook target, which is the primary way this lane loses.
