Who Wins

Pre-6, Lucian + Milio wins most 2v2s because Milio's W empowers Lucian's passive double-shot and his E shields through your poke while Lucian's range and dash mobility make landing your Q unreliable.
Post-6, your R gives you a teamfight equalizer but Milio's R cleanses it, so the 2v2 advantage still leans Lucian + Milio unless you land a clean Q first.

Your best pattern is to W Jhin before he fires his fourth shot to amplify its damage, then immediately attempt a Q on the enemy ADC when they step up to trade — the empowered fourth shot forces a reaction that makes Q easier to land.
Avoid extended trades where Lucian can dash repeatedly, as your W heal cannot keep pace with sustained Lucian burst.

You should not roam early because Jhin has no reliable self-peel and leaving him alone against Lucian is a death sentence.
The best roam window is after a successful all-in that burns Lucian's flash or kills him, giving you time to impact mid before the wave resets.

Do not use your Q reactively as a panic button when enemies are already on top of you — at close range the bubble travels too slowly and will miss.
Save Q for when enemies are retreating or are CC'd by another effect, where the trajectory is predictable.
