LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Ezreal's Q poke outranges your autos and your E does not provide meaningful burst to win extended trades, so the lane is slightly unfavorable unless Nautilus lands a hook — Swain's E drain also threatens you heavily if you stand still in trades.
- Post-6, your R is a strong kill tool when Nautilus chains CC on Ezreal, but Swain's R sustain and Ezreal's E make it difficult to land a full-channel R without setup.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to let Nautilus initiate CC, then immediately cast E followed by R during the lockdown window — your R deals its highest value when enemies cannot move, and Ezreal in particular cannot E out of a Nautilus chain.
- Avoid trading without Nautilus CC first, as Ezreal will simply Q-poke you from range and Swain will sustain through your damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave when Ezreal is low or has used his E offensively, as he struggles to safely farm under pressure without his escape tool.
- Avoid hard freezing since Nautilus cannot protect you from a Swain E+R dive if you are caught near your own tower with no wave to hide behind.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in a straight line with Nautilus when Swain has R active — Swain's E pulls both of you into his drain range, and your immobility makes you the primary target.
- Positioning slightly offset from Nautilus forces Swain to choose one target and reduces the value of his E+R combo on your duo.
