Who Wins
- Pre-6 you and Jhin win the poke war: your E covers the entire lane width and forces Miss Fortune and Leona to play at max range or take repeated damage, and Jhin's fourth shot punishes any overextension.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes a coin flip on who lands their ultimate first — your R has a shorter cast time than Miss Fortune's R channel, but Leona R into Miss Fortune R will kill you before you can respond if you are caught.
Synergy & Trading
- Use E to zone Leona away from Jhin rather than purely for damage — if Leona cannot walk up, Miss Fortune has no follow-up and is forced to poke at a range disadvantage.
- When Leona does engage, immediately Q the root onto her to interrupt the chain and let Jhin land his fourth shot on the stunned target.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam unless the wave is fully shoved and Jhin is safe, because Miss Fortune and Leona will dive Jhin the moment you leave.
- If you do roam post-6, a river Q-R combo on a mid laner is high value, but only when both enemies are low or have just recalled.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in a predictable straight line behind Jhin — Miss Fortune Q bounces through minions and will hit you for significant damage if you are directly behind a minion Jhin is standing near.
- Maintain lateral positioning so her Q cannot bounce onto you and so Leona cannot E through a minion wave to reach you in one motion.
