Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the level 2 all-in if you land E+Q on Aphelios before Pantheon can W-stun you, because Aphelios has no escape and Kalista's rend will finish the kill.
- Post-6, your R + Kalista's R is a faster and more lethal combination than Pantheon's R, so you remain the stronger post-6 support as long as you are not poked below half health before the fight starts.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to E onto Aphelios directly rather than Pantheon, because Pantheon can E-shield your Q damage and W-stun you in response, while Aphelios has no defensive tools to stop your lockdown.
- Once Aphelios is stunned, Kalista stacks rend freely and Pantheon is forced to choose between saving Aphelios or trading into you.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam pre-6 because Kalista cannot safely 1v2 Aphelios + Pantheon, and Pantheon himself is a roam threat that you need to track.
- Post-6, if the wave is crashed and Kalista has a health advantage, a river roam to contest Pantheon's R roam is viable, but only if Aphelios is low enough that he cannot safely contest the wave alone.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not engage when Pantheon has his W available and is standing between you and Aphelios — he will stun you mid-dash and your entire engage is wasted while Kalista is left exposed.
- Always check Pantheon's positioning before committing your E, as a blocked engage in this matchup often results in a lost fight rather than just a failed trade.
