Who Wins

Pre-6, Lucian + Lux wins most 2v2 exchanges because Lux's E zone control and Lucian's passive burst punish your engage attempts before you can stick to targets — you need a clean E land to trade favorably, which Lux's E denies by forcing you to walk through it.
Post-6, your R gives you a reliable initiation tool that Lucian and Lux cannot easily dodge in a tight lane, and a successful R into Q-W combo with Kai'Sa following up flips the kill pressure decisively in your favor.

Your best trading pattern is to wait for Lux to misposition or waste her E, then immediately E onto Lucian (not Lux), lock him with Q-W, and let Kai'Sa stack passive and unload — Lucian without his support's peel is far squishier than he appears.
Never engage when Lux has her E and Q available, as the root into slow will either cancel your dash or leave you stunned in the open with no follow-up.

Push the wave hard early to force Lucian and Lux under tower, which reduces their safe poke range and creates opportunities for you to all-in without Lux having the space to land skillshots freely.
A slow-pushed wave also denies Lucian his preferred spacing game, as he needs room to proc his passive safely.

Do not engage without confirming Lux's E is on cooldown — walking into her E while trying to E-gap-close is one of the most punishing mistakes in this matchup and will result in you being rooted, poked down, and potentially killed before your combo resolves.
