LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Blitzcrank hook into Caitlyn headshot and trap is a kill combo you cannot survive or trade back against at levels 1-3 because your damage requires stacks you haven't built yet.
- Post-6, the lane remains dangerous but Lux R gives you a long-range finisher that can punish an overextended Caitlyn, and your R lets you follow up on a Lux root for a kill if they misposition.
Synergy & Trading
- Play reactively — let Lux land her E root first, then follow up with your W and auto stacks to maximize damage on a locked target rather than trying to engage independently.
- Do not try to all-in without Lux's root because Caitlyn's range and Blitzcrank's hook will punish you before you can stack enough autos to be relevant.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave quickly to deny Caitlyn her range advantage under tower and reduce the space Blitzcrank has to hook you — a wave crashing into their tower forces them to CS in a tighter space and limits hook angles.
- Avoid letting the wave sit in the middle of the lane where Blitzcrank has maximum hook range and Caitlyn can freely poke you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to farm aggressively in the open against this lane — every time you step up to CS you are in Blitzcrank's hook range, and a single hook into Caitlyn's full combo will kill you before you can stack your passive.
- Play behind minions and accept some CS loss early rather than giving them a free kill that accelerates Caitlyn's item lead.
