LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you have a meaningful level 2 spike when you get Q+W — landing a hook at level 2 into Caitlyn's headshot is a genuine kill threat that Kai'Sa and Lux cannot match in raw burst at that moment.
- Post-6, Lux R gives the enemy lane a long-range execute that can punish you after a failed hook, so your window to win fights narrows if you miss your Q.
Synergy & Trading
- Hook Kai'Sa rather than Lux when possible — Kai'Sa is the scaling threat and pulling her into Caitlyn's trap and headshot denies her passive stacks and delays her power curve.
- After a successful hook, use E to silence and prevent Lux from rooting Caitlyn to peel for Kai'Sa, keeping the follow-up clean.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should generally not roam — your value is entirely hook-dependent and leaving Caitlyn alone against Kai'Sa plus Lux creates a 1v2 she cannot survive.
- If you do roam, only do so after pushing the wave to tower at level 6 with a clear numbers advantage mid, and return immediately.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to hook range without vision of both enemies — Lux E into Kai'Sa W is a strong poke combo that will whittle you down before you can land a meaningful hook, and a low-health Blitzcrank who misses Q is a free kill.
- Respect Lux's E range and approach from angles that force her to choose between poking you or protecting Kai'Sa.
