Who Wins
- Pre-6, Ezreal + Alistar win the 2v2 if Alistar can land his combo — Alistar's level 2 spike (W+Q) is one of the strongest in the game and Yunara is immobile pre-6, making her a clean target for a headbutt-pulverize into Ezreal Q poke.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes more contested because Yunara's R gives her sustained damage and mobility, but Ezreal's E lets him dodge her W laser and disengage before she stacks up, so you retain a slight edge if you avoid prolonged fights.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to let Alistar initiate with W+Q, immediately follow with Q onto the displaced target, then E out before Yunara can activate her R and ramp up — you want burst windows, not extended fights where her Q stacks and passive crits accumulate.
- Never commit to a long trade; your job is to land a Q or two during Alistar's lockdown and then create distance immediately.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave consistently with Q poke to deny Yunara her preferred extended-fight setup — she wants a slow, drawn-out lane where she can stack Q and proc crits, so a faster-paced lane with constant pressure and early recalls disrupts her scaling pattern.
- Avoid letting the wave sit in the middle of the lane where Blitzcrank has easy hook angles; shove it to their tower to force them under it and reduce hook threat.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand still trying to out-poke Yunara at even range — her W slow and Blitzcrank hook punish any static positioning, and if you get hooked while Yunara has her R active, the burst-plus-ramp combo will kill you before Alistar can peel.
- Always maintain an escape angle with E off cooldown, and respect that Blitzcrank hook into Yunara R is a kill combo on you specifically.
