LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this lane at level 2 if you hit W+Q on Yunara — she has no dash pre-R and cannot escape your combo, and Blitzcrank cannot react fast enough to save her if you initiate correctly.
- Post-6, Yunara's R gives her a dash on E which lets her escape or reposition through your combo, so your engage becomes riskier and you need to bait her R before committing to a full all-in.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to W onto Yunara (not Blitzcrank) and immediately Q to knock her up, then let Ezreal follow with Q damage during the lockdown — Yunara is the kill target because she is immobile pre-R and is the damage threat.
- After the combo, use your passive healing to sustain through any return damage and peel Ezreal from Blitzcrank hooks by positioning between Blitzcrank and Ezreal.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam when the wave is shoved to the enemy tower and Blitzcrank is visible in lane — Blitzcrank is a poor roamer himself so you have a timing advantage, and your W+Q combo is one of the most reliable roam-kill tools in the game for mid lane ganks.
- Avoid roaming when Ezreal is low or the wave is in a state where Blitzcrank can freely hook Ezreal without you present to peel.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not get baited into walking up to hook Blitzcrank — Blitzcrank's Q has longer range than your engage range and if you overextend trying to initiate, you become the hooked target, which removes your peel for Ezreal and puts you in a bad position.
- Your job is to be the initiator on your terms, not to react to Blitzcrank's threat; always approach from an angle where you can W+Q before Blitzcrank can hook you.
