LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the 2v2 due to superior range and Lux's root enabling headshot procs, but Rakan's level 2 all-in (W+E) is a genuine threat if you're caught out of position without a trap placed.
- Post-6, you lose the extended fight if Xayah uses R to dodge your ult and Rakan chains his R into Xayah's feathers, so the 2v2 advantage flips unless you have significant HP leads.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to place E traps at chokepoints before Lux lands Q, then auto-attack for headshot procs while they're rooted — this forces Rakan to either take damage or burn his W to disengage.
- Avoid extended trades where Xayah can stack feathers and recall them, as her E will shred you if you're in melee range of her feathers.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to push the wave consistently using Q to poke and maintain lane priority, which denies Rakan roam windows and forces Xayah to farm under pressure.
- Avoid freezing unless you have a significant lead, because Xayah's wave clear with Q+E is efficient enough to reset the freeze and punish you for overextending.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to trade without a trap pre-placed behind or beside you — Rakan's W+E engage is fast enough to close your range advantage instantly and you will be caught without an escape tool.
- Burning your E reactively rather than proactively is the most common mistake that loses this lane.
