LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this lane — your range advantage over both Ezreal and Vel'Koz lets you auto-attack freely, and Leona's level 2 spike (E+Q) can punish any aggressive positioning from either opponent before they can respond.
- Post-6, Vel'Koz's R and Ezreal's R give them poke and burst potential that can threaten you if you're low, so you need to maintain your health lead from early.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to place traps (E) at chokepoints to force Vel'Koz and Ezreal to play around them, then auto-attack from max range whenever they step forward to CS — Leona's threat of engage keeps them from walking up freely.
- When Leona engages, immediately follow with your headshot passive proc and Q for maximum burst on the locked-down target.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Slow-push the wave to build a large minion wave, then crash it under their tower — this forces Ezreal and Vel'Koz to choose between taking damage or losing CS, and it creates roam windows for Leona.
- Avoid letting the wave bounce back to them cleanly, as a neutral wave gives Vel'Koz safe poke range and Ezreal free Q farming.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not overextend to chase Ezreal when he uses E to disengage — his E resets on kills and he can bait you into Vel'Koz's W+Q combo while retreating.
- Respecting his escape tool and letting him come to you is more effective than chasing a target designed to kite.
