Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you have kill pressure if you land Q on Sivir before Leona can engage — Sivir's W blocks one hook but she cannot block it every time, and Irelia's follow-up is lethal.
  • However, if Leona hits her level 2 E+Q on you or Irelia before you hook, you lose the trade badly because your passive shield does not prevent the CC chain.
  • Post-6, you lose the 2v2 — Leona's R is a more reliable AoE initiation than your single-target hook, and Sivir's R makes their follow-up chase unavoidable.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to hook Sivir when she steps up to last-hit or use Q, immediately R to knock her up, and let Irelia Q chain onto her — this two-ability CC chain before Leona can react is your highest-percentage kill setup.
  • Never hook Leona; she wants to be in melee range and your hook just gives her a free engage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You want the wave to sit in the middle or slightly toward their side so Sivir is forced into hook range to farm — if the wave is under your tower, your hook threat is neutralized and Leona can engage safely.
  • Coordinate with Irelia to avoid shoving the wave, as a frozen wave near your tower is your best defensive and offensive tool.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use Q as a reactive tool to peel for Irelia when Leona engages — by the time you hook, Leona's stun has already landed and your hook will miss or hit Leona who is already in melee.
  • Also avoid standing in predictable positions near walls where Sivir and Leona can predict your hook angle and play around it.
