LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you are losing the poke trade because Vel'Koz's range and Kai'Sa's early Q stacking make it dangerous to stand in lane without taking chip damage — Calibrum (rifle) is your only tool to contest range but Vel'Koz still outranges it.
- Post-6 you have kill threat with Infernum or Gravitum R if Thresh lands a hook, but Kai'Sa R makes escaping your setup possible, so you need a clean sequence.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use Gravitum to root Kai'Sa after Thresh hooks Vel'Koz, or use Infernum to splash damage onto both targets when they are grouped — never try to auto-trade with Kai'Sa at even health because her passive shields and E make short trades unfavorable for you.
- Use Calibrum to poke safely from max range when Vel'Koz is on cooldown.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave quickly with Infernum splash to deny Kai'Sa passive stacks and force her to farm under pressure, then back off to avoid Vel'Koz poke during the slow-push.
- Do not let the wave freeze mid-lane where Vel'Koz can freely poke you without you being able to respond.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in a straight line with Thresh — Vel'Koz Q splits into two bolts and both of you being hit simultaneously is a massive health swing that enables a Kai'Sa all-in.
- Spread your positioning and never commit to a trade without knowing Vel'Koz's Q and E cooldowns.
