Who Wins
- Pre-6, your level 2 W+Q all-in is one of the strongest power spikes in the game and Nautilus does not have a reliable answer to it if you land it on Samira — however, Samira's E dash can make her slippery and Nautilus's passive slow makes the follow-up messy, so only commit if Samira is clearly out of position.
- Post-6, Nautilus R is a hard counter to your engage pattern because it knocks you up before you can W+Q, so you transition to a reactive peeling role rather than initiating.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern post-level-2 is to W+Q onto Nautilus when he walks up for a hook, interrupting his engage before it starts and letting Ashe freely poke a displaced Nautilus.
- If Nautilus does land a hook on Ashe, immediately W+Q onto Samira to knock her away before she can build style stacks and reach her R.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam aggressively because Ashe has no mobility and leaving her alone against Samira's all-in potential — even without Nautilus — is extremely risky.
- If you do roam, only do so when the wave is fully pushed under the enemy tower and Ashe has enough health and distance to survive a short window alone.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W+Q as an engage tool post-6 when Nautilus has his R available — he will simply R you out of your combo mid-animation, wasting both your cooldowns and leaving Ashe completely unprotected.
- Save your W+Q as a peel tool to knock Samira away from Ashe after Nautilus's initiation rather than using it to start fights yourself.
