LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades if you can land your E root and follow with Q plants, but Leona's level 2 all-in (E+Q) is a serious threat that can collapse the lane before you get to trade on your terms — respect it or die to it.
- Post-6, your R is a game-changer: a well-placed R into E root kills or forces Sivir and Leona out, and Xayah's R synergy means you can 2v2 decisively if Leona overextends.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to zone with plant pressure first, bait Leona into walking into your E root, then immediately Q to spawn plants on the rooted target while Xayah unloads feathers — never initiate the trade yourself, let Leona come to you.
- Avoid extended fights where Leona can chain CC on you; your damage window is the 1.5 seconds of your root, so make every plant count in that window.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You want to slow-push the wave by letting plants chip it, which forces Sivir to use Q to clear and denies her passive shield stacking on poke — do not shove blindly into Leona's range.
- A slow push also sets up a freeze threat or a dive scenario post-6 when your R is online.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not place your E in obvious, telegraphed spots where Sivir can simply walk around it — Leona will use that wasted cooldown to engage for free.
- Also, never stand still after rooting someone; Leona will still walk through the root to chain her own CC onto you.
