LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, this lane is rough for you: Zyra's plant poke at range outdamages your poke, and your E shield only blocks one ability at a time, meaning Zyra can Q+E in sequence and one will always hit you.
- Post-6, you still lose the 2v2 if Zyra lands R, but your R gives you a disengage and chase tool — the game plan shifts to surviving lane and outscaling rather than winning the 2v2.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to use your E to block Zyra's E root specifically, since that is the ability that enables all of Zyra's follow-up damage — if the root is blocked, the trade goes heavily in your favor with Leona's CC chain.
- Short trades where Leona engages and you follow with Q bounces are your best window; never commit to extended fights where Zyra's plants keep dealing damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave hard with Q bounces to deny Zyra plant setup and force the lane into a fast-paced state where she cannot set up slow-push traps — Zyra's kit is much weaker when the wave is constantly moving.
- Shoving also lets you back safely and denies Zyra the ability to roam with wave advantage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste your E on Zyra's Q — save it exclusively for her E root, which is the ability that enables all kill pressure in this lane.
- Burning E on the wrong ability is the single biggest mistake you can make and will result in a death to a rooted all-in.
