LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Smolder win this lane — your E root into plant burst is more reliable poke than anything Jinx or Shen can output, and Shen's engage is readable enough to zone with plant placement.
- Post-6, Shen's R is the primary threat; a Shen R onto Jinx mid-fight with your R already used means you lose the extended fight, so you must respect his global presence.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to pre-place plants with W before engaging, then land E to root Jinx or Shen, immediately cast Q through the rooted target to spawn additional plants on top of them — this creates a burst window where Smolder can freely stack Q.
- Do not use E as a blind poke tool; save it as a setup ability for committed trades.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam aggressively — Jinx with Fishbones can shove and poke Smolder alone, and Shen's R already covers the map better than you can.
- Stay in lane to maintain plant pressure and zone control, but ward river aggressively so you can track Shen if he does roam.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not place your W plants in predictable patterns that Jinx can destroy with Fishbones AoE — Jinx's Q splash will clear your plants before they become threatening if you plant them in the middle of the minion wave.
- Place plants in brush or at the edges of the lane where Jinx cannot efficiently clear them without overextending.
