LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Caitlyn out-ranges both of you and Nami's poke and sustain make extended trades unfavorable — you can threaten with plant pressure but Caitlyn's range means she can poke you before your plants reach her, and Nami heals it back.
- Post-6, your R is a game-changer in a 2v2 since it knocks up both enemies and sets up Kai'Sa's full combo, giving you a real kill window that Caitlyn and Nami cannot easily escape.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to place W seeds proactively in the brush or lane, then land your E root to instantly spawn a plant and force Caitlyn to either take plant damage or back off — follow with Q for a second plant and let Kai'Sa follow up immediately.
- Never trade without your E root connecting first, as your plants without CC are too slow to hit Caitlyn who will simply walk away.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam if you can shove the wave with Kai'Sa and have your R available — post-6 roams to mid with R are high-value since it is a massive AoE knock-up.
- Avoid roaming pre-6 because Kai'Sa is extremely vulnerable to a Caitlyn dive without your peel, and losing bot tower early is a worse outcome than a failed mid roam.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in predictable positions where Caitlyn can headshot you through minions — she will whittle you down and Nami will sustain her, making your HP deficit a losing attrition war.
- Avoid using R reactively as a peel tool only; it is your primary kill-setup ability and wasting it defensively throws away your main offensive threat.
