LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win the poke war cleanly — your Q outranges Kai'Sa's basic attacks and you can harass her down while Leona zones Nautilus from engaging.
- Post-6, the lane becomes more dangerous because Nautilus R into Kai'Sa R creates a burst combo that can one-shot you if you are below 70% HP, so you must respect their all-in threat and avoid standing in predictable positions.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is sustained Q poke from max range while Leona threatens the lane with her presence, forcing Nautilus to either sit back or overextend for a hook — if Nautilus hooks Leona, immediately reposition with your E to avoid Kai'Sa's follow-up.
- Never stand still; your damage output is tied to your movement, and a static Zeri against Nautilus is a dead Zeri.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Slow-push the wave to build a large minion wave that crashes into the enemy tower, denying Kai'Sa safe farming and forcing Nautilus to choose between clearing and engaging — a frozen wave near your side is also strong since Nautilus must walk through open space to hook you.
- Avoid letting the wave bounce back to the enemy side where Kai'Sa can farm safely under tower pressure.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W aggressively to try to burst Kai'Sa early — it has a long cooldown and burning it in a poke trade leaves you with no escape tool when Nautilus looks to all-in.
- Your W is your primary escape from Nautilus's hook chain, so treat it as a defensive cooldown unless you are certain the fight is already won.
