Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Kai'Sa do not win the 2v2 — Leona matches your all-in threat and Zeri's range means Kai'Sa takes free damage during your hook animation, making level 2 all-ins risky unless your hook lands cleanly on Zeri.
  • Post-6, your R into hook combo gives you a reliable kill setup on Zeri if she is caught out of position, but Leona's R can counter-engage and turn the fight if you commit without vision of her cooldowns.

Synergy & Trading

  • Hook Zeri, not Leona — Leona is built to absorb CC and her W reduces your hook's effectiveness, whereas landing your R or Q on Zeri immediately threatens her life and forces Leona into a reactive position.
  • After your hook lands, chain your E and W to maximize the CC duration so Kai'Sa can fully stack her passive and proc Kraken Slayer.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam only after a successful all-in that burns enemy summoners or secures a kill, as leaving Kai'Sa alone against Zeri's poke and Leona's all-in threat is a death sentence for her.
  • Optimal roam timing is post-first-back when you have enough items to survive a mid skirmish — look to roam mid when the wave is crashing into the enemy tower so Kai'Sa has a safe reset window.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not walk up to hook Leona when she has her W ready — she will absorb your hook, chain her own CC, and you will have wasted your primary engage tool while Zeri freely damages Kai'Sa.
  • Respect Leona's level 6 spike; her R covers enough range to catch you if you are standing aggressively in the river brush.
