LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you and Jhin win this lane — your level 2 E is one of the strongest early engages in the game, and Kai'Sa has no dash before she builds enough items to evolve her E, making her a free target.
- Post-6, your R becomes a game-changing tool, but Pyke's R can execute you if you're low after a dive, and Kai'Sa's R repositioning makes it harder to pin her down without a clean E landing.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to hide in a brush or behind the wave, E onto Kai'Sa specifically (not Pyke, who is tankier and has more escape tools), and immediately let Jhin W the landing zone — this two-step CC chain is nearly lethal and forces the enemy to blow summoners or die.
- Avoid engaging when Kai'Sa has her E evolved and ready, as she can dash through your E and you'll land on Pyke instead.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Yes, roam — you are one of the best roaming supports in the game due to your passive blob collection enabling fast movement and your E covering enormous distances.
- Roam mid after a successful bot kill or when the wave is pushed in; your level 6 R is a strong gank tool that can turn a mid skirmish into a free dragon or tower, and Jhin can hold lane pressure with his wave clear.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not engage when Pyke has his hook ready and is standing in a bush — a Pyke hook into his E stun into Kai'Sa plasma is a kill on you if you're not full HP, and your passive healing is not fast enough to sustain through their burst.
- Wasting your E on a Kai'Sa who has her E evolved and ready is the single biggest mistake you can make, as a missed engage with no follow-up leaves Jhin in a 1v2 with no peel.
