Who Wins

Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 if Nautilus lands his Q, as your feather setup requires time to stack and his CC chain denies that entirely; at level 3 with W active you can win short trades if Nautilus misses his Q, but post-6 you are heavily disadvantaged because Nautilus R into Ezreal R kills you before your R can save you unless you pre-emptively use it.

Stack feathers passively with Q and auto-attacks before committing to a root — do not force the E root without at least 3 feathers in position, because a failed root attempt against Nautilus means you are in melee range with no escape tool while he chains his full CC combo onto you.

Freeze the wave near your tower whenever possible; this denies Nautilus his preferred hook angles from river brushes, forces Ezreal to walk up into danger to CS, and gives you a safe feather-stacking environment where Milio's healing keeps you healthy through poke.

Do not use your R reactively to Nautilus's E or auto-root — save it specifically for his Q or R, as those are the CC instances that lead to your death; using R on a minor root wastes your only escape tool and leaves you exposed to his next full rotation.
