Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you and Caitlyn win the 2v2 — your Q poke range and E knockup give you tools to harass and interrupt Braum's engage attempts while Caitlyn's traps further zone them.
  • Post-6, you retain the advantage but must respect Braum's R, which can chain into your own knockup and lock you down long enough for Smolder to deal significant damage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to use your Q to poke Smolder from max range while placing your E in Braum's likely engage path to interrupt his Q dash — this denies Braum's primary engage tool and forces him to walk up, where Caitlyn's traps and your W can punish him.
  • When they are low enough, your full rotation (E into W into Q) combined with Caitlyn's headshot can secure a kill.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should generally not roam early because Caitlyn is not a strong solo laner and Braum can dive her if you leave — your presence is necessary to deter Braum's all-in.
  • If Smolder is low or dead and the wave is shoved, a quick mid roam with your R is viable, but only if Caitlyn has enough HP and the wave is in a safe position.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E aggressively as your primary engage tool — if Braum is nearby and you knock Smolder up, Braum can immediately Q onto Smolder and chain the stun, turning your aggression into a kill on Smolder.
  • Save your E defensively to interrupt Braum's Q approach rather than using it to initiate trades.
